Are my fellow campaigners aware of the Campaigns Forum?
It's an informal group of professional campaigners who come together to exchange information, share challenges and learn from each other. The focus is on strategy and tactics rather than campaigning on a particular topic.
It's held on Friday afternoon, and then people go to the pub (where the real networking is done!). It was set up by Tom Pollard previously of Mind, and is now organised by Jen Bamforth at Which? It's held quarterly usually.
The next one is tomorrow Friday 10th at Which? offices in Paddington. We'll have the usual introductions and info exchange, followed by Crisis talking about their work on the Homelessness Reduction Bill and Shelter about their work on rental fees.
It's not widely advertised and is organised through a Google group so it took me a few years to discover its existence. So I thought I'd post it on here.
To join click 'apply for membership' at
https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/campaignsforum (NB: you need to copy and paste this link into a browser and it's hyperlinking the first part only)

PS I love the CharityConnect initiative by the way!
