I am the CEO and founder of clothing brand 4bysix. Our sales raise money for projects to help people who are homeless. We have just been chosen to exhibit at the Saatchi Gallery for the ELLE WEEKENDER running 30th Nov-2nd December. For this project we will be using 25% of the funds raised to pay for menstrual cups for homeless women.
Our installation is to showcase our products & projects in a 5 square metre space that will have the following;
- 2 desks including sewing machines to upcycle old sweatshirts into scarfs.
- 2 clothing rails to showcase our clothing.
- a desk to show literature explaining our journey and projects.
We are looking for people to come along and help upcycle sweatshirts into scarfs. We need 5 people who would be willing to help for 3 hours each on one of the days (30/11, 1/12, 2/12). This will involve cutting sweatshirts into sections to sew together into scarfs. We can send pictures of previous scarves we have made.
We are speaking with Good Housekeeping to hire sewing machines, but if you have your own that is completely fine!
Thank you in advance and please do pass this message on to people you feel will be interested.

All the best,
Alex
