I recently graduated my master degree in business administration and now I want to get into the third sector. During my studies I volunteered in several student organizations and NGO`s, I was even in the board of some of these organizations and I was the head of the projects department, where I had to oversee the implementation of all the flagship projects. I know for a fact that I have more experience than an average graduate, and I have the necessary skills needed for the entry-level positions that I`ve applied so far (assistant, intern), but I didn`t have even one interview so far. I start to be frustrated and it makes me to believe that recruiters don`t consider my applications just because I`m not from UK (even thought I have Romanian citizenship, therefore I`m eligible to work in UK). Is there someone here who is in the same situation as me? Do you have any suggestions?
