Fundraising and Communications Officer

I have varied experience in the 3rd sector, from volunteering, to interning and most recently working within fundraising and communications - my tasks have always been very ad-hoc (being the only employee at my most recent role and I think this makes it difficult for me to stand out for specific positions).
I left my previous role just before corona hit and as you can imagine I have had no luck in finding a role since then. Now that charities are beginning to recruit again I have been applying to roles but have not had much luck in obtaining interviews. I would really appreciate someone to discuss this further/ a mentor to guide me on continuing my journey and career in the sector.
