PROMISEworks is a young, operational charity.  We recruit, train and support volunteers who, in turn, provide one-to-one long term mentoring support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people.  We want to improve how we listen to and act upon the voices of our stakeholders - those that do not have the time, inclination or desire to join our Board but who have a vital role to play in helping us set our direction.   This would include the children and young people we support; their families; our volunteers; and the agencies that refer children to our service.  We want to get beyond the anecdotal and give people the confidence that there is a forum for their ideas, complaints and requests for improvement.    Does your organisation use a similar method to link with interested parties?  Do you have any experience in setting up such a group?
