This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
"I recently (6 weeks ago) started a new fundraising role and have come to realise that it isn't a good fit for me (type of fundraising activity, management and communication issues). I am of course now applying for other roles, but I'm unsure of whether I should raise my feelings with my manager now or await a job offer. I don't think there is anyway that they would be able to change things to help fix it for me. It's affecting my wellbeing and I am tempted to resign but aware that the current climate may mean another job takes a while to find. Getting conflicting advice on this from family and friends but realise this decision has to be mine alone."
