Charities do great work in the community and are sorely needed. It is increasingly noticeable that Charities are struggling to maintain communications with their volunteers, pre-pandemic. I would be grateful for responses as to HOW charities are maintaining contact with them, and do they understand the importance of this? Also they are taking decisions on volunteering with out even consulting their volunteers in the first place, or at least informing them. These 2 approaches are not very helpful, and volunteers may well be considering their futures because of this. Are the Senior Management Teams (INCLUDING Trustees) aware of this? How do they plan to respond? The buck stops with them.
