Having gained thirty years commercial experience in the corporate world I am now seeking a leadership role working in environmental sustainability, conservation or international development in the third sector. In support of this change I have undertaken a Masters Programme in International Development which I completed in September 2017. I have gained experience in the not-for-profit sector through a variety of volunteering and advisory roles in the UK and abroad, including:
- Farmers Overseas Action Group (FOAG): provision of financial and commercial advice in support of FOAGs lead funder strategy and engagement with delivery partner NGOs in Uganda.
- Ablaze: Benefits assessment for trial mindfulness programme.
- Modisa: Wildlife Conservation Volunteer, Botswana.
- Friends of Rwandan Rugby (FoRR): Volunteer Rugby Coach / Tour Leader, Rwanda.
After working closely with the charity Friends of Rwandan Rugby for a number of years I became a Trustee In 2016.
I have been coaching rugby since 2001 and am RFU Level 2 qualified.
My greatest strengths are my strategic planning and business transformation capabilities, which are supported by extensive organisational, financial and operational experience.
