Time2Share is a local charity supporting disabled children, young people and their families. We were set up in 1972 by a group of medical students at Bristol University who noticed there was a lack of support for disabled children in the Bristol area. We now support families across the Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset region

Currently we run a volunteer befriending scheme and a range of group activities for disabled young people. Over half the young people we support are on the autistic spectrum. We provide opportunities for young people to establish an independent social life, build their own friendships and most importantly  have fun!
At the same time parents and carers also get some time out.
When we met our first volunteer, the best time for her to visit was a Sunday afternoon, which just happened to coincide with the football on Sky Sports! The girls went swimming and I went to the pub to watch football with my mates. Result!
