I have 9 years of progressive responsible programme experience in working for International Non-Governmental Organisations in partnership with UN agencies and in working with various stakeholders from community level up to international level, both in relief and development work. I have been a Program Coordinator at Plan International as from 2009 up to 2017 and a Field Officer at CARE International as from 2007 up to 2009. Prior to these positions, I worked for Ministry of Primary and Secondary as a Primary School teacher. Plan International is Child Centred Community Development Organisation. At Plan, I was a Program Coordinator for Education and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Programs. At CARE, I worked as a Field Officer for the Vulnerable Group Feeding, Schools' Supplementary Feeding and WASH programs. I have a wide experience on issues pertaining to Education, Child Protection, Health, and Gender for children, with special emphasis to the plight of the girl-child.
I am a holder of a Bachelor of Education degree in Administration, Planning and Policy Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. In addition, I hold a Humanitarian Aid Workers certificate, Child Centred and Community Development Certificate and a clean class 4 drivers licence. If offered this job, I am confident I will add value to this your organisation. I am highly computer literate and am fluent in Shona, Ndebele and English languages.
