Originally from Yorkshire, now in Oxford.
In 2018, I set up a nonprofit community organisation for patients, parents and carers dealing with Rare Autoinflammatory Conditions in the UK. Myself and the other volunteers aim to raise awareness, campaign and influence policy changes, advocate for patients as well as offering direct support to patients via an online forum. 2019, we were awarded Charity status in England and Wales.
I have a particular interest in Mental Health, as shown in my previous role as the Vice President of Academic Experience at Brookes Union.
My personal experiences of living with a rare Autoinflammatory condition has made me determined to bring positive changes to patients and families lives. In addition, I am organised with clear goal objectives in most tasks.
