My responsibilities are varied and in support of program activities, project planning, monitoring, targeted communications, and support to the offices common areas of work and on going as well as new projects.
Most years of my experience have been gained through health care public sector ( 4 years NHS) and I have a huge interest in international development and well being of individuals which can be so different once assessed through a capability approach lens which brings into question what 'aid is.'
I am currently working on well being report of individuals in South Sudan. Part of my masters project to assess well being in areas where NGOs work to find out the missing link between what is provided by aid workers and what is needed by those being aided and whether the work NGOs do actually pay off on similar or different levels to individuals.
I am consider myself a feminist and a human rights activist, I play the roles in daily life and I feel like undermining of females is heavy in most parts of Africa. I was recently in Kenya on an independent research on Urban poverty trying to get an insight on how to cope and resources available for coping taking me back to capability approaches including mass education which seats at the center of my believes we South Sudan is to move from its current position....
