I have extensive experience in health, ranging from service provision, policy and research, this holistic view of European healthcare systems has given me the drive to push service and policy development through data. I worked as a patient engagement adviser in the Early Intervention n Psychosis team in Oxford. In this role I helped third sector organisations outreach to young people experiencing psychosis and helped link clients up with the organisations that could interest them. Most clinicians did not have a comprehensive view of what was on offer in their community and with the financial situation there is no one driving this forward.
This is why I have created this CIC, because I believe in promoting the community activities already out there and give people the choice to engage in their community to help their health.
I currently work in health policy and find attitudes to health too reactive and not preventative enough. This is a growing concern in a situation of mental health disability, and rising levels of chronic illness.
