Joel has been in fundraising management since 1997, for ten years with global NGOs managing large scale direct marketing programmes. The ten years from 2008 were spent leading fundraising departments in health, social care and medical research charities in the UK. Since November 2018, Joel has been consulting to charities. Joel is a certified member of the Institute of Fundraising, MCIOF(Cert), and holds a Masters degree in Voluntary Sector Management from City University.
