Hi everyone, I hope you're keeping well and safe at this difficult time. I just wanted to let you know of some changes we've made to this round of the Aviva Community Fund in response to the difficulties charities are facing right now. 

The two main changes are:  

We've broadened the criteria for the current funding round – applications are open now until 5 May. We're still encouraging causes to submit their forward thinking ideas and projects, but also now welcome applications from small charities that need funds to adapt or simply continue their vital services. This applies even if it’s as simple as finding the resources to cover core running costs, so that projects continue to help beneficiaries and communities during this time of need.   

Secondly, we're giving projects the choice whether to crowdfund with an all or nothing target or keep what you raise. Once you've applied, our crowdfunding coaches can help you decide which is the best option for your particular project.

I hope that helps explain how we've flexed the fund and how it might now be relevant to you. Don't forget, we offer full crowdfunding support throughout your campaign so if this is new to you, please don't feel it's something you don't have the skills to do.
