Just wanted to share this with the world. Since a few months ago Ad Grants has expanded beyond just showing on search results.
If you create a Performance Max campaign in your charity's Google Ad Grant.
Then add a location extension.
Your P-Max ads will show not just in search results, but also on Google Maps.
Who is this useful for? The local charities that usually struggled to get impressions from an Ad Grant, the ones that want visitors: museums, community cafes, animal shelters, churches.
I've seen accounts get a nice boost in spend from the account by doing this, that previously were in the doldrums.
On a separate topic, rumours are circulating that Microsoft's Ads for Social Impact program is about to re-open after two years on pause, so keep an eye on nonprofits.tsi.microsoft.com/en-US/ads-for-social-impact.
