I'm implementing a new strategy to diversify our fundraising income - and have a question around conversion rates if anyone can share or point me in the right direction?
For individual giving - we have around 16,000 on our e-bulletin list (rarely if ever asked to donate) and are about to do a public campaign around COP26, of which a key aim is to build the numbers of people we can talk to directly... but I'm really keen to assess what other charities see as a good conversion rate from newsletter reader to donor (I know this is the first step on the ideal journey!).
Also - what success rates people have from corporate pitches? ie how many live conversations can I reasonably expect to bear fruit...
Any information - or even sources of information - would be gratefully received!
