Are any other charities having problems with the stripe onboarding process for Enthuse?
After confirming trustees etc, I am asked to sign that I am "the bank account holder and that I am the only person required to authorise [direct]debits".  I can't sign this because (a) the charity as a corporate person is the bank account holder (I'm just a signatory) and (b) we have dual authorisation for everything (so I can't sign alone).
I've tried explaining this multiple times to Enthuse and I just keep getting a response saying it needs to be signed by someone with authority - a person with significant control, trustee or senior member of staff.  The problem here isn't delegated authority, it's the wording of the statement.
I have explained to them as a charitable company we don't have persons with significant control, and that no-one has authority to sign a direct debit without dual authorisation.
In the meantime our payments from Enthuse are blocked, and we're forced to use Enthuse for the London Marathon, Great North Run etc.
Has anyone managed to get past this?  Or managed to find anyone in Enthuse who understands my problem?  I was on the verge of raising an official complaint as to how ridiculous this process is, but then realised that complaints go to the same email address.
