Fundraising Jobs - how to get experience?

Hi there
I currently work in community development, mainly helping community groups and small charities to set up and develop. A lot of the work I help with is around fundraising and funding, in an advisory capacity.
I'm very keen to move into a fundraising officer role, but so many person specs require a lot more hand on experience (as opposed to just supporting with grant applications/advising on community fundraising methods etc)
So how do I land my first role in fundraising?
