New charity seeking advice on securing funding for a big project

Hi everyone,
SMAG has been running for about 1 yr now, and we just got our CIO status. We have been successful to partner with a large international charity - creating a corridor to take people from Somalia abroad for free reconstructive surgery.
It's about a £2m project, we now have to find how to cover cost to run the project around £40k.
Would appreciate any direction, advise, sign posting...
