Hi everyone and I'm delighted to e-meet you !

I've been pointed in your direction by the lovely people at Charity Job.com.

I’ve been working in the corporate sector for my whole career and have been with a well-known high street bank until recently. I am now looking for a move away from financial services and into a role in the not-for-profit field and feel that I could have skills that would support a charity.

Having covered project support, financial and business administration in my recent career, I have had experience of many different aspects of planning, organising and providing support. I could use these skills to add value for projects & planning for instance, or if there's a need for extra support for expanding any existing or new processes required. 

I was hoping to see if there's anyone who has made the transition from a corporate industry role to the charity sector to see if they have any top tips or advice on how best to make the transition - or just understand how it worked out for them.

Any thoughts or resources would be appreciated !
