What's been your experience of text-to-donate services?

Hi all,
I have recently started in a fundraising position for a charity in Northern Ireland. We only have one base and the donors seem to be mostly close by. We cover all of Northern Ireland and I want to find different routes which offers easier donation options to people further away.

Text to Donate is one of my options. I have found a service to provide it (Supported Giving) which has been recommended to me. But I want to know what experiences people have had with Text to Donate in general? Pros and Cons? How did you market it? What was your response?
