Advice on training/workshops for staff as part of implementing a new Ethical Procurement Policy?

CharityConnect: Advice on training/workshops for staff as part of implementing a new Ethical Procurement Policy?
Hi all
I've almost finished writing a new procurement policy for the Mental Health Foundation and after quite a bit of consultation I now want to think about launching it. I think having some short training sessions/workshops for targeted staff would work well and I can talk through the process in general. However, what I really want to get across is this new central concept, 'to embed the assumption of responsibility of the Foundation for the labour, human rights, diversity and inclusion and environmental practices in its supply chain.'. I get the feeling people often buy something because is cheap and/or easy, or familiar but I want to change that so they think about the consequences of the purchase. I would love to bring someone in who could talk about the subject for a short while or if not for me to be able to give some good relevant examples.
If anyone has any experience of how they have launched something like this, or any suggestions, I would love to hear.
Thanks
Adrian Lance
