Balancing time running a charity with Universal Credit – advice needed

Hi everyone,
I run a small charity (Walk N Talk 4 Mental Health) and I’m finding it increasingly hard to balance the time needed to manage everything with staying within the rules for Universal Credit.
As most of you will know, running a charity — even as a volunteer — can be almost full-time some weeks, and I’m worried about how this looks to the DWP. I don’t want to do anything wrong, but I also don’t want to hold the charity back by cutting back on the work it needs to keep going.
Has anyone else been in this position or found a good way to manage it?
Did you have to log your charity hours or show evidence of what you’re doing?
And if your role started to shift towards being paid, how did you navigate that transition with Universal Credit?
