Zoom Meetings .... (insert something positive - or more likely very negative)
A lot less commuting ... but really missing actually seeing people - friends
Covid Rules (ever changing)
Then there are Webinars

Pre the pandemic I watched a lot of webinars so if you're now 'webinar saturated' I know how you feel
I've always had 10s if not some weeks near 100 invites a week. Done well (brilliantly) they are really useful resources - learning experiences plus some inspiration - that are free and can be shared
Done (insert negative possibly derogatory adjective) they can be boring and far too 'salesy' - even for our Sector. I'm not the greatest fan of most of the expert discussions (the 'panels'). This sort of thing needs a bit of 'Graham Norton' (in my opinion) - lots of research - and some sort of summary (from the 'star') of what they said available after the webinar as a download
If you now have to attend more webinars, and especially if you are going to be part of a team who now has to produce your own, you'll want them to be the best you can put together
Help is at hand!
This is the latest newsletter from the Marketing Expert I'd put forward if asked for just one person to recommend.  She's the loveliest lady called Ann Handley
Half way down the newsletter - and I've not just inserted the direct link to the webinar support because its good etiquette to link to the whole newsletter when its of the quality this one is - is a headline 'The Elephant in the Zoom'
Its there you will find a code to get free access to what is a day's worth (but its all on demand so you can watch bits as you can) of advice and learning about everything 'webinar'
To get there you'll have passed some really good advice about copywriting and how do decide if an idea is a good one - its well worth signing up for Ann's newsletters which only come twice a month
We can be better at Marketing - we need to. If you want to find more advice on this, Comms, Projects & Analysis, Strategy, Social Media, 'Agile' and lots more - and all for free - do follow my new Twitter account @in12monthstime if you can

Hope everyone is safe and being supportive - and being supported in the work you still manage to do!
