Best Approach?

Bruce McLauchlan Knowledge Exchange Centre Manager at N/A Posted 4 years ago

CharityConnect: Best Approach?
I have an aspiration to move into the charity sector, having spent most of my career in corporate and educational activities. I am currently employed at a college; my team there helps our students to get employability ready.  We also organise workshops and field trips as well as creating videos in support both of curricular activities and employability.
Previously, I have run my own business consultancy and was also Communications Director for a European foodservice caterer.
As my CV, therefore, lacks direct charitable experience - other then a responsibility for charitable activity as part of my Communications role - I would welcome any hints or tips that would help me to achieve my aspiration.
Any thoughts?
