CharityConnect: Branding for Beginners
Branding is not just for large corporations with big budgets. If you are ‘selling’ anything to anyone, whether this is a product, service or idea, your customer will want to know you are trustworthy, professional and deliver what you promise. Branding is central to communicating these attributes, and you should see it as a vital asset in your Not9to5 toolkit.
In this Introductory workshop we will focus on three key areas:
What a brand is
How to develop a brief for a designer to follow
How to look after your brand in the long term
Our third Edinburgh Not9to5 workshop will be facilitated by Lucinda Jeffery, Lucinda is an experienced marketer, with a work record spanning both the private and charity sector, agency and in-house, organisations large and small. Her expertise lies in marketing strategy, branding and project management. She has been a brand manager, insight analyst and fundraising & marketing manager, so she understands the complex challenges clients face from multiple perspectives.
Lucinda recently founded Roseberry Marketing to help SMEs, charities and social enterprises navigate the marketing landscape and reach a wider audience. She believes no matter how small you are, you can achieve great things; all you need is creativity, passion and intelligence.
