Clothing donations for dementia and mental health patients on hospital ward (NHS)

Ops

Gracie LONGMORE Registered Nurse at NHS Posted 2 years ago

I would very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. I work on a older persons female mental health ward which also has dementia patients in South Wales. Patients are admitted with very little clothing, sometimes they have only the clothes they are wearing. We have critically low clothing stock on the ward which we rely on to give dignity back to our patients. Hospital gowns are not suitable or appropriate as they are not bed-bound.
We would be very grateful for any suggestions of where we might be able to get women's clothing, suitable for the elderly.
Thank you for your help.
