Hello all, has anyone had experience with their Charity vehicle being fined for parking in a space that wasn't permitted for "Commercial" vehicles?
I am currently fighting a fine, stating that we do not use our vehicle for commercial purposes. I've even quoted them what the definition of a commercial vehicle is; and that we don't carry goods or fare paying passengers. Yet they won't back down. I'm onto our second appeal.
Just for the record I had a standard parking permit. So it wasn't as if I was trying to park for free. How can a charity go about its good work if it's not allowed to park!?!?
