Suppose a charity puts competing motions to its members at its AGM - for example:
- Motion 1: To allocate £1M to the XYZ project.
- Motion 2: To allocate £2M to the XYZ project.
- Motion 3: To allocate £3M to the XYZ project.
Would later motions automatically override earlier motions (even if most members have submitted votes in advance)? And is anyone aware of any precedents for this?
