Im leading on the development of an e-learning portal (moodle based) and whilst proficient in classroom based training courses , this is our first move into the e-learning market. Despite extensive marketing across England, both email and social media I'm struggling to raise the profile and I know its a very competitive market. Because of this I'm now looking at whether trust and grant funders could fund some of the work so that we could offer a range of free courses as opposed to wholly commercial venture. Would love to hear about any experiences from charities that have been through the pain and challenges of setting up e-learning services and made it work?
