Have you ever closed an office and had to get rid of everything inside it? How did you do it?

We’re closing one of our charity offices and I’m staring at rooms full of desks, chairs, cupboards, IT kit and general “how did we accumulate all this?” furniture.
I’d really welcome hearing from anyone who’s been through this:
- Did you sell items individually, in bulk, or via a clearance company?
- What worked well and what definitely didn’t?
- Any mistakes you’d avoid second time round?
- Did you manage to raise meaningful income back into the organisation?
