I am in the process of registering our charity with HMRC. I have completed the online registration and I am now due to send off some paper evidence in the post. I noticed that there needs to be an 'official' registered with HMRC to deal with the charity's tax and that I need to complete a CV1 form. Does anyone know if this is to be done once registration with HMRC is complete as I do not have an HMRC charity reference number yet to add to the CV1 form. Any insight would be much appreciated.
