When a charity is formed to protect, assist or in other ways aid the members of a vulnerable group, whether they are paralysed, homeless, orphans, or just old and frail or any other group actually, they - the charity - must at some point understand the following: the vulnerable group is the needy group and the charity is formed in order to alleviate this neediness of the vulnerable group and NEVER the other way round. The vulnerable group are never for the alleviation of neediness of the charity nor his volunteers (or paid workers). And they understand this aw'ight.
A vulnerable group always and without exception completes service for bigger concepts, - our main one is Civil Liberties - and for this reason the vulnerable group is entitled to this protection, alleviation, aid or assistance - on the charity's part it is often not a favour done it is an obligation completed
The success of a charity is determined by hundreds of factors and this is a main one  -  some say:  THE No1 !!
In our case we are a grass roots set up and we are therefore the vulnerable group as well as those protecting our own interest so this distinction is super clear.
