Hey everyone, 

I'm a new member here. I'm the Fundraising Officer (for the last 7 months) for a medium-sized homelessness charity based in South West London. My background is in national and international charitable challenge events but this is my first time working directly for one charity. 

Pre-Covid I've been told that we often wouldn't have an issue with getting individuals to sign up to take part in challenge events, such as Ride London or Vitality Big Half. However, even pushing on our socials, newsletters, corporates, and paid social ads, we are finding it difficult to receive any engagement. Is anyone experiencing a decline in sign-ups to their challenge events? 

I wondered if the cost of living crisis comes into play or the apprehension with getting back to the "normal" post-Covid. If anyone is experiencing anything similar or if you have any advice on how to tackle this issue I'd be very appreciative!
