Progression/mentorship programmes

A CharityConnect User Posted 5 years ago

Hello all, I am struggling a little within my new charity career route (moved from the corporate world as an investment assistant previously) as I am an administrator in an entry level role with unfortunately no option for senior progression etc. So I have been trying to get involved with projects within the corporate fundraising team and applied for a position that came up recently but wasn't considered for an interview due to lack of direct experience. There is also nothing available internally for any official training or mentoring at present so just looking for some guidance if anyone had similar when starting out (I am nearly 30 now too so progression is really important to me) or if anyone knows of any training programmes to look into elsewhere/to suggest to my workplace? Thanks in advance!
