I have a  high ranking role in an organisation and for the last 6 months there has been a relentless campaign to oust me. Have been suspended on spurious grounds and currently going through investigation meetings this has become extremely stressful and union rep thinks it may be best to resign. I have over 12 years with this organisation with an unblemished record but seem to have been betrayed by people who I have supported through ill health.  I am an older person and am sure this is part of the issue to "get rid". Have lodged a grievance but no faith in independence of any actions by my organisation 

 

Any thoughts appreciated as I feel very isolated
