I hope someone can advise. I work for a scientific charity and we publish a journal quarterly, which is sent to various parts of the world. We were told that we now have to put a customs form on the packaging. This we have done... but have received a number of complaints from our subscribers because they have had to pay import duty on the item. I am assuming that it is because the journal, whilst VAT exempt here, is not in the recipients country. Does anyone have a disclaimer that they put on their website informing them that this may occur, or has anyone found a way around this.
