I am CEO of a new CIC called Find my Charity. We are mapping community activities in a new way. We are creating a social movement through social media and local activity whereby people are more engaged with their community and the activities going on. This will create a public demand and an incentive for community organisations to actively update and maintain their activity list on our website findmycharity.org and through our twitter @findmycharity. I have planned to create the public demand rather than asking time-poor organisations to fill in another directory which doesn't demonstrate public interest and engagement first!

I am trying to develop this demand and presence through social media and attending events. So my question to you is: what would make you interested in being on a map like this? How would you engage with the public and the community to get people on board with this?
