This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
I work for a small charity. We had a new join CEO last year, who promised great things. They have come into post and mismanaged pretty much everything. They alienate and cut people off from each other by telling them not to talk to colleagues and they have removed our internal and external comms. Pretty much everyone has now left or is leaving. I was led to believe that my role would continue and I have recently found out that this is now not happening, so in a few weeks I will also be out of a job. 
There are lots of other issues that I am worried about posting about in case anyone sees it and recognises it. However, I have my suspicions that they have done this before elsewhere. I also don't think the board know, although I believe some of the outgoing staff raised a complaint, but I don't think anything was done. These details were not shared with the rest of the team. I would contact the trustees to raise these points, but I don't really know any of them well enough and I am not convinced that they would do anything. ( Something similar happened with the previous CEO and nothing was done). I am trying to leave with some dignity but I feel so angry that people have been treated so badly and the new person just seems to be getting away with it. 
I just wanted to raise this in a safe space and see what others think, what you might suggest I do, if anything and if this has happened to anyone before, which sadly I am sure it has. Something similar has happened to me, and I was devastated. I don't want to be angry and bitter, but it seems so unjust and unfair that people in the position of authority just seem to be able to behave like this and get away with it.
Any thoughts, comments or suggestions would be gratefully received.
