- Is it valuable? If you can only generate a tiny donation, is it worth your time to promote it?
- Is it easy to use? Before recommending anything to your supporters, try it out yourself for a while. If you (and who is more motivated to generate donations for your cause than you, the professional fundraiser?!) don't find it intuitive, will your supporters invest the time to figure it out?
- Is the service it offers as good as alternatives that don't generate a donation? Years aso when they first appeared on the scene, I tried out a bunch of alternative search engines that generated donations for charity, but they didn't "work" as well as Google fo rme, so I never adopted them. Maybe the options have improved - do you have one that you use that works well?
- Do you have a natural audience for the opportunity?
- Is this opportunity a more attractive "ask" for this audience than other opportunities in your arsenal?
