Have you got experience of setting up or running a 'friends of' organisation? I'm particularly interested in what I'd call the more philanthropic type where the purpose is to support another charity through community fundraising or regular individual donations (e.g. for a church or local park), rather than where the friends receive significant benefits in return for their support (e.g. for an arts organisation).
