🤝 Meet the speakers:
Carly has worked in marketing and communications since graduating from university, starting her career in travel and tourism, a stint in retail, and then making the move in to the charity sector in 2013. The majority of her roles have been with small-medium sized organisations and charities, so she understands the challenges this brings, having to wear many hats and often single handly manaing all aspects of communications. Carly is a firm believer in the power of food, has a passion for combatting loneliness, and enjoys rustling up meals from surplus food – key drivers for her joining FoodCycle.
Wayne has been working with charities for 20 years, half charity side, half agency. His specialisms are fundraising and communication strategies, brand positioning, product development, and innovation. He’s worked in senior leadership roles for Amnesty International, Refugee Action and Prisoners Abroad. Agency side roles have seen him work with over 100 charities, connecting people to causes they believe in, and mobilising them to drive positive change. He’s also a trustee and a leadership mentor.
Krystal Lashley-Scrivener
Krystal has worked in the charity sector for the past six years. She is a successful Fundraiser and Project Coordinator with proven experience in major donor fundraising. A track record in delivering six-figure donor-funded grants in the UK and overseas. Highly organised and experienced in managing multiple, concurrent projects. An innate ability to maintain, build and grow donor/stakeholder relationships both regionally and internationally has contributed to donors renewing funding commitments.
