I have discovered that I & several other parents have been added to an Early Years Charity as trustees, without consent for appointment back in 2019.
I volunteered for some fundraising only & was associated with the setting for only 3 months (as my child moved to another playgroup).
I'm really upset to think to think how irresponsible it was of the committee to do this & suspect it was done to keep the setting open.
I need to get my name removed, but resigning suggest I agreed to the position in the first place - which I didn't. Is this a matter for the charity commission or is there another body who would be interested?
