I have worked for two East London authorities over the years and strangely covered a bit of training and community support within them roles. I say strange as outside those full-time roles I was a member of the Royal Air Force - Air Cadets organisation; formerly a Reserve role yet voluntary.  The cadet 'hobby' if you will was mostly a youth work role and training, so it should have not come as a surprise that when I became redundant at my last local government role, I decided to move into training.
