I have been the Chair of a small rural community centre for 7 yrs now; we have recently taken on a new trustee whose agenda seems to be to get rid of me completely. He has today told me he is reporting me to the charity commission for mismanagement. I'm at my wits end; we have had a terrible year, with losing funding and consequently our staff and I have done everything I could to keep the place going. He refuses to discuss it with me, just says he has no confidence in the chair and I should step down. I don't want to as I have done nothing wrong and have the support of the other trustees but it's very hard to keep going.
