Advice on paying a CIC founder a salary

I am starting to trade as a CIC and I feel a bit like a rabbit in the headlights. Is there any websites or companies that can advise where I can get discounts or help. Eg - I've just paid a year for a website and realised i could have got it for free.
This would be so helpful for pushing the business forward.
