Generating a URL for Charity Commission page

Does anyone know if it's possible to generate a simple URL for people to access your charity's page on the charity commission register?

I usually just hyperlink the page from the 'charity search' function, but would like to include written URL in our next annual review document, and want it to be as simple a URL as possible.

I've tried messing around with the URL details from the charity search URL, but haven't found a combination that works.

You could use a URL shortener such as https://tinyurl.com/app perhaps? That's what I do with Charity Commission web pages.

We'd normally look to achieve that via the charity's website with a URL redirect function, so you can set up something like www.my-charity.co.uk/charity-commission

Some website platforms have this feature built in, and you can get plugins to do it for others such as Wordpress. Maybe speak to your web developer.

I may be misunderstanding, but are you asking how you can change this Charity overview, Together We Learn - 1165953, Register of Charities - The Charity Commission into Together We Learn - Charity Commission (Example)?

You do that in whatever application you are using to write the report. There should be an icon that look like a chain. Much like that above in the tool bard when typing in here

Caroline Walker in that case you can use a redirection service like tiny URL, which I believe has already been suggested

Just add it to your website, surely? Create a page called www.mycharity.co.uk/cc Then on a webpage called cc, you'd have a link to your charity's listing at the CC ? You can also set a link to open in a new browser tab, so when they close the page they come back to your website.

Caroline Walker URL redirection at the domain level is easy, but not so easy at the page level. If you are determined you could use a subdomain cc.youdomain.co.uk and make that redirect, but people get a bit confused when typing in 123 and then arriving at abc instead.
