Hello there,

How are you guys doing? 😊

Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself to everyone here at CharityConnect. My name is Aggie and I'm super excited to be joining the wonderful CharityConnect team this week. I'll be taking over from our caring community manager Robin who has been looking after you lovely lot for the past two years. 

As for myself, I come from a very interesting community background and have bags of experience in managing online communities, gathering feedback and building some ace products together with members just like you. For the past four years I've worked across the Brand and Community teams at giffgaff (the only mobile network run by its members) so the community spirit is at the heart of everything I do. 🙌

I started off as a BA (later MA) grad in Media and Advertising here in London back in 2012 (time flies!) and over the past few years have found my passion in nurturing online communities and helping people within these communities.  During my studies and time at giffgaff I've also volunteered at Mayhew Animal Home, Friend Farm Animal Sanctuary and taken part in a various community initiatives across different sectors.

A fun fact about me - I've totally mastered kombucha brewing so if you have ever wondered about this fermented magic in a bottle you know where to find me. 🍹I also love a good yoga class, an inspiring book and a fun indoor rock climbing session in my free time. 🧘📚🧗

With regards to CharityConnect, I'm here to assist  you and continue to bring wonderful people together, improve your experience and help the community thrive. CharityConnect is a very unique initiative and I am incredibly excited to see it grow and be part of the team during this journey. 

But first, I want to hear from YOU! What do you love about CharityConnect, what are your expectations, how can we improve? How could CharityConnect serve your interests better? This is your community and I want to kick off a conversation to start getting a feel of what's working, what's not and what your needs/wants/desires are. 

I am looking forward to getting to know you all, so feel free to say hi, introduce yourself and tell me a little bit more about your relationship with CharityConnect. We have a fantastic opportunity to build this community together and I feel truly honoured to work with such a wonderful group of passionate and knowledgeable charity professionals. 🙏
