Can anyone advise on steps and good practice when a volunteer returns after a fairly major health issue. Should we ask for a note from their GP or something in writing from them? The role can be quite physical so am keen to ensure safety of our volunteer and also mitigate any issues for our charity.Â
Any suggestions would be really helpful as not much out there for volunteers returning only employed staff - assume we would follow similar guidelines?
